Weight loss, self-confidence and control over your weight

One of the main pains of being overweight, isn’t being overweight. It’s being out of control.

This is one of the lessons I’ve learned from my clients. And it’s recurring. Below a quote from one of the conversations I had the other day that described just that.

The same applies to many other areas in life. Whether it’s business or your personal life. It’s not enjoyable to have some bumps in the road, but as long as you’re behind the wheel and know where you’re going you’re not stressing out.

It’s such a joy to be part of the process where the people I talk to – slowly switch from the passenger’s seat to the driver’s seat. I can see their energy change from being overwhelmed, angry or even scared – to a ‘pedal to the metal, why aren’t we driving faster’ attitude.

Taking control isn’t easy, but once you have a hold of the wheel it’s a joy and there’s no reason to drive slowly anymore.
